Accessibility Statement

Statement pursuant to the Austrian Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BaFG, BGBl. I No. 41/2024) and Directive (EU) 2019/882.

Accessibility status

The website www.metallagentur.at aims for the broadest possible accessibility. The target conformance level is WCAG 2.1, Level AA.

Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML5 with correct heading hierarchy (h1–h3)
  • Skip link ("Skip to content") at the top of every page
  • All images provided with alt attributes
  • Colour contrasts meet WCAG 2.1 AA (ratio ≥ 4.5:1 for normal text, ≥ 3:1 for large text)
  • Full keyboard navigation
  • ARIA-labels and landmarks (role="banner", role="main" etc.)
  • Correct lang attribute on every page
  • No auto-playing media
  • Form fields with visible labels and error messages
  • Responsive design, scalable to 200% without loss of information
  • Fonts served as system fonts (no external request)

Known limitations

  • Logo: embedded as an image with alternative text.
  • PDF documents: currently none are provided on the website.

Micro-enterprise exemption

This website is operated by a micro-enterprise (fewer than 10 employees, annual turnover below EUR 2 million). Under § 4 (3) BaFG, reduced requirements apply. Nevertheless, we voluntarily strive for the best possible accessibility.
